Stephen Hewitt

Stephen is an experienced, senior solicitor and member of our prestigious Private Client team.  He is based at our Bexhill office and specialises in probate and estate administration, Will drafting, trusts, tax, powers of attorney and elderly client matters.  He prides himself on establishing a good working rapport with clients and providing excellent client service.

BACKGROUND:

Stephen has spent most of his professional career working for major London law firms, having been managing partner of a large firm for twenty years.  He was listed in “Chambers Law Firm Directory” and the “Legal 500” for a number of years as a “leading London lawyer”.  Stephen is the holder of an MBA in Law Firm Management.

Before retraining in Private Client law Stephen has a background in litigation and law firm management at board level.  He is a fully accredited member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers. 

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE:

Away from work Stephen enjoys travel, sport, theatre and film as well as walks by the sea or on the Sussex Downs with his family and their labradoodle . Stephen is a qualified soccer and tennis coach and a keen cyclist and runner.
