If you are a talented lawyer looking for interesting, high quality legal work in a beautiful location on the south coast, we’d love to hear from you.
Trainee Solicitors Opportunity
We are a long established and respected law firm based along the coast in beautiful East Sussex with offices (mostly within a stone’s throw of the beach) and close to main line stations in Hastings, Eastbourne, Battle, Bexhill and Rye, employing nearly a hundred staff. We are able to offer a good work life balance and a relaxed and friendly working environment.
We have an established tradition of developing Trainee Solicitors within the Firm to meet the growing future requirements of a highly successful law firm. We can offer training from experienced trainers in Residential & Commercial Property transactions, corporate work, the Court of Protection and Vulnerable Clients, Will Trusts and Probate, Dispute Resolution and Family Law. There are many post-qualification opportunities with many trainees remaining with the firm post-qualification and several former trainees going on to become partners.
This September we are looking to take on up to three Paralegals ideally with strong local links, possessing a good law degree and possibly having completed their LPC. Applicants with energy and enthusiasm who will, if successful in the Paralegal role, and if not already having gained their LPC, will be offered day release to do so. Those successful in the Paralegal role, with an LPC will then be offered an 18 month training contract. A successful applicant can thus be a qualified solicitor in 3 ½ years. Practical training and some financial support towards academic fees and unpaid day release for training and paid study leave will all form part of the employment package.
Interested applicants should email their CV together with a covering letter to email@example.com by 12 July 2021. Successful prospect applicants will be invited to attend an assessment day event in Hastings on Thursday 22 July 2021.
