BACKGROUND:

Having studied history at university before training in law, Richard has worked in the legal sector since 2006 and qualified as a solicitor in 2013.  Richard began his legal career working for a local authority in the South East, before transferring to a private practice, acquiring expertise in a wide range of commercial work in the process.  Richard was a director and head of commercial at another local firm before joining Heringtons in 2020.  Richard became a Partner with the firm in April 2022. 

Richard is a past president of Eastbourne Law Society and is active in Eastbourne Round Table.
