Lola Goodwin

Lola has been working in Family Law since 2018. She specialises in cases concerning the arrangements for children following the breakdown of a relationship. Lola also advises clients in circumstances where there have been allegations of domestic abuse and is skilled in dealing with matters on an urgent basis, ensuring both children and parties are protected from risk of harm. Lola’s focus from the outset through to conclusion of a matter is an outcome that is in the best interests of the children.

Lola is compassionate and sensitive in her approach, and prides herself on her attention to detail. She has experience assisting clients from a range of backgrounds and she recognises the importance of adapting her approach to meet her clients' individual needs and circumstances. Lola is mindful of the concern of many clients as regards keeping costs to a minimum and keeps clients well informed.

Lola is able to assist clients in reaching an amicable conclusion to their matters without the need to begin Court proceedings but is equally proficient in guiding her clients step-by-step through contested proceedings. Lola is confident in handling complex cases concerning protracted or recurring litigation.

BACKGROUND:

Lola is in the final year of her training to become a CILEX Lawyer and has recently achieved 100% in her Family Practice exam, something of which she is extremely proud.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE:

Lola enjoys weight training at the gym, reading crime fiction novels and winter walks on the beach with her dog, Max.
