Based in our Bexhill office, Jane is an experienced solicitor dealing with all aspects of residential property conveyancing including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, lease extensions, mortgages and equity release matters.

BACKGROUND

Jane started her law profession at Yearwood & Griffiths, Bexhill in 1975 and has worked as a conveyancer ever since. 

Jane qualified as a Solicitor in 1994 after completing her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York.  She then undertook a fast track Professional Skills Course at the College of Law in Chester, and achieved a Post Graduate Diploma.

Jane said she was extremely honoured to be appointed as President of the Hastings & District Law Society in 2016.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Jane was born in Bexhill and has always lived and worked locally.  In her spare time she enjoys travelling, reading, animals and wildlife, visiting historical houses and gardens, trekking and taking part in quizzes.   She has completed five Charity Treks including trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in 2009; the Annapurna region in Nepal in 2011; followed by Uganda where she saw the endangered mountain gorillas; Borneo to see the orang-utans, and finally in Transylvania where she visited Dracula’s Castle and a bear sanctuary!
