Belinda Wood
Marketing Executive & PA to the Managing Partner
Assisting both Richard Fisher, Managing Partner, and Hazel Harper, Practice Manager, with day to day matters and project work, Belinda also oversees marketing and PR for the firm. She is the firm's corporate charity co-ordinator working closely with our local charitable projects within the community.
Belinda is the key organiser of the firm's client, marketing and staff events and loves to surprise colleagues with an assortment of entertainment which in the past have included not just local acts but also the West End Singing Waiters and the world famous Platinum Abba tribute act.
BACKGROUND:
Belinda joined Heringtons in 2014 following a varied career which included working for a commercial enterprise in Dubai, the BBC in London. In the early 90s she moved back to her home town of Hastings where she became PA to the Borough Council's Chief Executive during the town redevelopment and opening of Priory Meadow Shopping Centre. A highlight of this time was when she assisted with the organisation of the visit by HM Queen Elizabeth II. She then ran her own successful direct sales businesses which also involved training and supporting a team of consultants around the country.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE:
Belinda is a keen family genealogist, musical theatre fan, and loves hosting home parties for friends and family. She is an active member and past President of Pett Women’s Institute since 2017.
