We are pleased to announce our support for Hastings Community Trust and in particular the Hastings Foodbank at King's Church, Hastings.

After what has felt like another difficult year nationally, I am really pleased that Heringtons is able to support some of the social action initiatives of the Hastings Community Trust, particularly the Hastings Foodbank. Demand for the Foodbank has reached an all-time high; no doubt due to the cost of living crisis. This is happening in our area and right now. At Heringtons we care deeply about those around us including our work “family”, our clients and the wider community and I think that the fact that staff have voted for this very worthy cause as charity of the year reflects just what we hope for as regards the Firm’s ethos and culture. As well as regular donations of food items by staff members, it brings me great pleasure to know that the Trust will benefit financially as our charity of the year.

Hastings Foodbank is operated by King’s Church, along with many willing and faithful volunteers from all walks of life. Every week, the foodbank supplies food to a large number of families and households from across the local community. It is only through the generous support of financial donors, such as Heringtons Solicitors, and the many donations of food and toiletries that we receive from the general public and our other partners, that make the work of Hastings Foodbank possible – thank you!
