Jade Carey
Dispute Resolution Solicitor
Jade advises clients on a diverse range of civil disputes and claims arising from contractual and property related matters. Jade has experience of resolving disputes through negotiation, at mediation and in court proceedings where necessary, and is always mindful of helping clients to achieve cost effective solutions.
Jade is extremely organised and prides herself on her efficiency in her work. With a keen awareness of the stresses which disputes and litigation can bring, colleagues refer to Jade as "a safe pair of hands" and clients have commented on her approachability.
BACKGROUND:
After obtaining a First Class degree in English and undertaking the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course, Jade trained at a leading national firm in London. Jade was admitted as a Solicitor in 2016, specialising in commercial dispute resolution for public sector clients. Jade is originally from Hastings and returned to join the Heringtons' dispute resolution team in March 2025.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE:
Jade puts her negotiation and mediation skills to good use at home in resolving disputes between her three young daughters. Jade also enjoys practising Pilates and is a keen swimmer in her spare time.
