Heringtons Charity Partnerships 2022-23

We are delighted to announce our two new charity partnerships for 2022-23.

The first one is Charity for Kids a Hastings-based charity first established in 2011 to provide help for disabled, sick and terminally ill children – and their families – across Hastings & Rother.  CFK supports children and their families with specialised equipment that is either not available via the health services or comes with very high costs, which is not always possible. The charity was nominated by Legal Secretary Caroline Toms who had heard about the fantastic work the organisation has achieved. Jay Wootten, Chief Executive for Charity for Kids said  "As a team of volunteers we continue to make a difference to local children in our 10th year.  We are so grateful to Heringtons and their colleagues who voted for us to become their charity partner.’

and

Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance who came to the aid of a colleague at one of our offices last year and provided life saving treatment.

Richard Fisher, Managing Partner of Heringtons said "We have been pleased that our staff members have put charities at the forefront of their thinking in this difficult year.  We have given staff the opportunity to nominate their preferred charity to receive a series of payments this year and this has culminated in the firm-wide vote for our main Charity of the Year.  I am delighted Charity for Kids have won and I look forward to learning more about their valuable work throughout the coming year. We also are looking forward to actively fundraising for Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance who hold a special place in our hearts.”
